Socialism now reigns with new Bailout

  OK, the Bailout passed the Senate with 75 votes yea. Pubs will be blamed for not voting 100%.  Gallup has Obama up and electorally, McCain is in the soup apparently. So Friday, the House will now vote on a bill which has over 400 pages when at first, there was a 3 page outline. The Pork et al is very apparent.  So is the Green socialism and even a few tax cuts. The Dow is still plunging in spite of the Senate passing this horror.  So socialism is winning, Obama is winning and pacifism will not be far behind when and if he wins in his dealings with the Iranian thug. Oh, and what about our energy needs? And what about the Palin debate tonight? Seems as if this is already decided by the poohbahs in the MSM and McCain is going to be hammered no matter what really happens. " Can this be the end of Rico," Eddie Robinson said in a crime film decades ago. Can this be the end of free enterprise democratic capitalism?  If the faux Messiah wins, I think so.

Dem socialism the cause of Wall St. mess

 If the public and John McCain understood that since 2004-06, it has been Dem socialists who have done the CYA bit and blamed Wall St. for their own silliness, their obstructionism to save Raines, Johnson, Gorelik instead of regulating Freddy and Fannie. Rush has a YouTube group of sound bites which absolutely proves this. But, the public and Senator McCain will not get it or understand it. Dems attack the regulators, W, and even McCain for the  Wall St. mess. To see the errors, the false reports, the unbelievable greed of the Dem leaders is breathtaking but again, the MSM will not cover it nor will McCain go after it. It appears that McCain thinks that ideology is not the villain but EARMARKS AND PORK. That is nonsense. Dem socialists are to blame and even poor President Bush in 2004 warned Congress about the corruption in Freddy and Fannie. Since Raines is black, any attack on these CEO's who ran these two groups, is now called racism. It was all for cheap housing for the very voters who support Dems!! Pubs as usual, will not defend themselves or the President. so, the public blames Pubs and Obama will get the benefit. The polls show the Dems and Obama gaining even at the expense of truth. It is bad enough that they smear Palin but they also blame clueless McCain in this mess. McCain will not stand up against the liberals and have a chance to win. So my guess is, he will lose.

Racism on the Left not on the Right

 Not only is racism, immoral, it is poor politics. Well, this silly season, the Dems are using the fear of race as well as using racial terminology via some of their people of 'color' to impugn not only the GOP but Palin and McCain.  Frankly, when an AP-Yahoo poll comes out right now saying some Dems might not vote for Obama because he is black, I suspect the methodology and the people taking that poll. Liberals in the MSM always call the GOP racist. But, when Charlie Rangel uses terms about Palin's kid, and calls her 'disadvantaged', he gets away with it because he is that good old 70ish Black Caucus leader and powerful NY rep., Charlie. If black Dems or Hispanic Dems make charges, there is never racism mentioned. Never. Dems love to scare whites because if anybody dares criticize a black pol, oh brother, it is racism. Well, Obama to me is a socialist pacifist and black has nothing to do with it. Guilt pervades this nation nowadays as does sexism but both of them are reverse racism and reverse sexism. It is fine for Dems to blast the Sarahacuda because she is a woman who is cute, wears glasses and loves to hunt, but anyone daring to blast Hillary or Nan from San Fran, oh brother, don't you know, you are sexist. It is all PC baloney and I am sick of it. Perhaps many of the voters are finally too. We shall see in Nov.

Liberal Dems are happy with the fiscal mess

 Can you hear Biden, Obama and the DNCers today. America is having some fiscal problems and the Dems are happy as loons. They love America when it is in trouble and that makes them closer to power. Yet, remember the Carter years?  Remember the banks, the oil-gas lines, the huge interest rates, the huge unemployment numbers that the Carter Administration could not handle and actually caused by their incompetence.   It took Ronald Reagan to bring some fiscal sanity after some tough times.  Obama is blaming the McCain-Bush ideas for this mess. Yet, the directors of Fannie May and Freddie Mac were people like Clinton's buddies, a lady who fouled up the intelligence gathering ability of CIA, FBI, and DIA during those Clinton 8 years. Country Wide's failure included wild speculation by Senators like Chris Dodd. So , if the public doesn't understand the housing bubble, it is not the Administration's idea or cause, and if they believe in class warfare, Dems will make hay in the election. We shall see. McCain should strike back with these economic facts or he will hurt his cause. The USA is still fundamentally a strong nation but it must be brought back to sound free enterprise systems which are not speculative on all fronts. A strong SEC, a strong FED , a strong faith in our system instead of talking down the economy is one way it could start to reform. But, reform is needed. And not huge tax hikes or even more silly regs which hamper small business. We shall see if McCain-Palin can provide that leadership or if the Obama-Biden ticket wins, will the actually undo any capitalistic succeeses that the USA has been built upon.

Sept. 11 Memories

  Today, is a very memorable day for all Americans.  Yet, during those days directly after Sept. 11, 2001, liberals called the attack one in which the USA itself caused, deserved and whose policies of being with Israel in the Middle East made, made, made the Muslims attack our nation.  Many liberals blamed Bush. Many liberals blamed Israel. Few in the liberal corner, blamed the Al Queda Islamofascists. And here we are 7 years later and Iraq is on the winning side for the USA and Iraq and it is also true we are in trouble in Afghanistan but we will win there too. Of course, if the faux Messiah ever becomes CIC, we will lose that war and the entire Middle East. After all this nonsense about 'lip stick on a pig',  liberal Dems are still wailing that the USA has lost the war against Islamofascism and that has been their motto for the last 7 years. Rush has been talking about that today as the MSM hypocritically supposedly honors our fallen. Those same MSM outlets have blamed Bush and the USA for those attacks for 7 years. I pray that thinking Americans will finally realize how insulting the liberal Dems, their blogs like Kos and the MSM have been to America when it is election time. Americans still think Republicans are in charge of Congress. Actually, it is led my a Democrat majority. If McCain-Palin do win, I pray that Republicans also at least take some seats that the MSM has already awarded to the Democrats. The election for me is just as much about defeating liberals as it is defeating the liberal MSM.

 A long time ago, a black actor named StepNFetchIt spoke that line in a film. Only it was, Chickens.  It seems that on Newsmax.com, there is a picture of Obama's brother in Africa, living on 12 dollars a year, with a picture showing BO in Muslim garb. Then today , on the campaign trail, Obama slipped up   and talked about his Muslim faith. A slip of the tongue I am sure. Still, if Sarah, any Christian, any GOPers had said that, the walls would have collapsed. See some of the crazed left wing blogs calling Sarah a cultist. They say her church makes Jews the horrors of the world. And oh yes, her baby is her daughter's.  Now that the LEFT is sick and has been for 70 years in this nation is nothing new, but the fervor of their madness is growing by supporting this empty suit, inexperienced socialist pacifist from Ill. , the faux Messiah BO. For some reason, and partially it is because liberals all think blacks deserve something whether they deserve it or not and anybody standing up and saying, 'hey who is this guy?'  is a racist just for the question.  So, in the next 8 weeks, let us see just what questions are asked to all 4 running for office in the Prez race as well as those running for House and Senate seats. Will the questions be fair or will they all be GOTCHA malarky with sexism or racism thrown in?

The Speech

  Before I met Katy and married her in 1980, I was really a political junkie and went to rallies, bought books on pols, heard speeches and since the age of 15, had been a conservative due to Bill Buckley's God and Man at Yale.  During the 1964 election year, Ronald Reagan gave The Speech. It was stupendous and helped Barry Goldwater get the nomination.  He lost but Reagan and His Speech gained cred all over America.  Last night, Sept. 3, A Speech was given by Sarah Palin at the RNC Convention as a VP candidate.  It will go down as a speech which will outshine the Obama Olympian Column speech at the DNC Convention.  Palin laughed, had fun , made great punch lines against the Dem Party and its silly liberalism. The Left bloggers tried to burn her to the ground over her son, Trig, her preggers daughter, Bristol and leftist writers like Joe Connason still try to smear Sarah over the Left's lies.  This is going to backfire big time against the MSM.  Outlets like CNN, MSNBC and the big 3 Networks will never again be seen as objective media. Never.  The hatred of the liberal media is going to be seen as in the tank for the Messiah and anything that is Democrat or liberal or socialist or pacifist. This may not go well with Americans who still believe in victory over evil. Who still believe in free enterprise. Who still believe in the military as worthy to use against foreign enemies and help our allies like Israel and E. Europe.  No one knows the future except God but for Sarah Palin, the future right now looks exciting and if her actions rival that speech, America will be the better for it.

Media hatred toward female choice et al helps the Messiah.

 Without even having to fire a shot, the liberal media has done the work for the Messiah by attacking not only Sarah Palin , McCain's choice for VP but Palin's 17 yr. old daughter who is preggers. Sure Obama told the world not to attack Sarah but you can bet that the nutroots who run the DNC and the Obama campaign are cheering all the MSM as they seek to destroy Sarah by proxy. It makes not a wit of difference to the DNC that their hypocrites and allies in the media take on the Palin family, but not the Biden family, the Obama family or any of the Dem families who have had drug, sex, criminal charges over the decades.  It seems to be a double standard for females as long as they are conservative, Christian, working moms and of course, Republican. No Boxer, Hollywood leftist feminist, no Michelle Obama will ever get the challenge the media is giving this 17 yr. old kid as well as the mother. Listen to CNN. Listen to MSNBC. Read the NYTimes,the Nation, and other liberal outlets. You might think this pregnancy is WWIII.  They have to tear the Palins down so there is no look at Sarah as a competent female.  No infanticide in this family. She chose to have a Down's baby. She chose to join in the NRA . She chose to run against her own Pub Party and tell them to have a natural gas line and to stop corruption. I hope McCain gives her a chance to show her stuff. She may turn these DNC and MSM haters on their rear ends.

The Right female at the right time

 A long time ago, some pols like Richard Nixon, some writers like Buckley, had said that when a female gets nominated and    ELECTED, it would be a Republican woman. Why? The fact is that America wants real people with real experience and with real values not Hollywood types, not celebrities, not elites but people with American values, history, family, and cultural ideas that honor our history and foundations.  Some ladies have been nominated in the past. All of them I guess broke some glass ceiling expectations.  But, today, McCain nominated Sarah Palin, a real lady, conservative, pro-military, pro-guns, hunting, fishing, energy exploration, free enterprise supporter and she has familly values with 5 kids, one with Down's Syndrome.  No one will be able to dis her 'small town values, guns, and religion,' She is an Assemblies' worshiper and is unashamed of it. Her hubby works on the oil fields exploration foundations. She is a Westerner with independent, reformist, change attitudes. Joe Biden better not try those snarky elitist Eastern smiles and dissing of this lady. She will fire back; something liberal men are not used to. Young, gorgeous, and smart. Perhaps she will appeal to Hillary voters. I do not know. But, at least she is an American who females and males alike can be proud of as she is also proud to be CIC of the Alaskan National Guard.

Appreciation for life and God's breaks

   Both of us were thinking about how our lives have gone. We come from varied backgrounds, peoples, cultures, even faiths. We are not stupid people but we are not geniuses either. Yet, for some reason, and the Bible says it is God's love, we have gotten to our respective ages, 67 for Katy and almost 70 for kgk, Glenn.  As for kgk, being born in Philly, to a blue collar family with grandparents whose job included being a union leader for the AFL, Dad away in WWII, he had a pretty good childhood as an only child not spoiled because money was short and responsibility was pushed. As he grew , he had no IQ for languages, math, yet he could talk, write, read and seemed to be interested in liberal arts at a very young age. Katy, in Austria, learned to be very good in numbers, not algebra but clerical work, typing , business dealings. Both of us went through a divorce but kgk never had kids; Katy had two daughters. On to college for kgk, at American U. Majored in history, TV-Radio,political science. Still, an idiot in math and languages. Katy worked in banking, raised those two daughters and lived in Ca. Kgk went on to Vanderbilt with a Carnegie Fellowship and thankfully, had no math or lingo materials to be wretched with! Began teaching in Fla, and then in Ca.  In 1980, they met, married and found that God somehow had decided that though being divorced, they would have a new start though family matters, memories, past sins still haunted both of them. Then in 1985,kgk went to Fuller Seminary and just retired after 20 years as a pastor. Had a horrid time with Greek and Hebrew. Yipe. Katy did the typing for his papers. Hooray. Yet, yet, while reviewing those years , realized that holiness , great success, and impact was very little. Still, God did not stop loving us. Why we got to  be here, both retired, with little accomplishment, is still a mystery to both of us. Other people have had horrid lives and been touched by God. We have had ups and downs but God has not dumped us.  The fact is, God has apparently never let us down though we have let Him down. Is it any wonder that we appreciate life as we have it. We are simply fortunate. We have had 3 grandsons who have given us some joy. We even have had some cats and dogs who have been marvelous companions. We have traveled worldwide. Yet, we know that we never, never deserved any of this. It has been blessings from God. Period. Not our brains, our successes. It is a mystery still to us but we are glad that God has not dumped us. Jesus still cares apparently. Our wish now is for God to transform us quickly into the mind and compassion of Jesus. We don't have many years left. Neither does any reader who reads this.

The Biden pick

  If Joe Biden is the Messiah's savior, the Dems are in real trouble. It seems that Obama made a selection that showedBO's real weaknesses. Joe over the years has made so many gaffes and absurd policy statements, that the RNC should have a truckful of ads to counter his so called effectiveness. Delaware is going to go Dem anyhow. Bayh would have given the Messiah Indiana and he needs to take some Red States as John needs to take some Blue states. We will see but my bet is that the person who debates Joe , whether it is Kay Bailey, Tim or Mitt, will come off as a nice person while Joe will revert to that smiling smug know it all stuff that has graced his Judiciary Appearances over all these 30 plus years.

Will John listen to the BASE?

  Look, it is not just abortion that the Republican BASE doesn't want expanded. It is socialist pacifist government regulations, taxes, control over the public as well. The BASE wants good strict constructionist jurists. It wants safe and controlled borders telling illegals that they are not welcome as illegal but will be welcomed if they play by the rules. The BASE wants choice in education. It wants choice in investing part of Social Security. The BASE wants to defeat not kow tow to Islamofascism world-wide. The BASE wants permanent Bush tax cuts.  The BASE wants to expand free enterprise capitalism not socialism. The BASE wants our military to be honored and wants us to still be that city on the Hill which is filled with light to aid the world.  Now all that we have written here is not believed by the socialist pacifist Democrats.  They want expanded abortion rights; even partial birth abortion.  They want to kow tow to Mexico and other nations who want to swamp the USA with their unwanted citizens. They want to kow tow to Russia, China, Iran and other American enemies. They want to appoint jurists who will expand government, and dis American history, rights, and culture as we know it.  We pray that Jon listens to the BASE as well as Talk Radio conservatives.  If he does, he will win.   If he doesn't, he will lose. Period.

KGK and Katharina join together

  Since kgk could not get back on his own blog, kgk.townhall.com, because townhall could not get a password to him, Katy and he decided to join together with a new blog and here it is.   We are both interested in politics, Katy for the first time. We are already on Hugh Hewitt and townhall.com under Katharina.   So we both need to express views that while will not get much commentary, we want readers who do click in, to know that other Americans are as interested in conservative, Christian, even Republican politics as well as foundational Judeo-Christian worldviews on every other subject. Katy just turned 67 and I am 69.  We both want the best for the USA.  I hope when you see either kgk or Katharina write, you will drop in and comment. Blessings on all of you who are interested in civil discussion but who also know, that Islamofascism, Demonic evil, liberalism are our enemies. We make no bones in also saying, Jesus God is the answer to daily as well as eternal problems but are willing to discuss how this could be.
